LR (Lorry Receipt) / Bilty

Also called: lorry receipt, bilty, consignment note, GR

How it works

Freight is marked as Paid (consignor pays), To-Pay (consignee pays on delivery) or TBB (To Be Billed to a party on credit). The LR number links the booking, the trip, the proof of delivery and the freight invoice.

The e-way bill number for the consignment is recorded on the LR, so the goods document and the transport document can be matched.
