PayrollOS — Getting Started
Multi-client payroll, statutory compliance and employee self-service in one workspace.
Overview
PayrollOS runs multi-client payroll operations end to end: salary structures, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, TDS), gratuity/bonus/insurance, and employee self-service — all under maker-checker controls with a full, immutable access log.
Beyond core India payroll, PayrollOS also ships GCC/UAE/Qatar statutory support, Canada (CPP/EI) and Australia (PAYG/Super) statutory calculations with correct FX conversion, an overtime approval workflow, and a dedicated CA Practice Management suite for accounting firms — GST and ROC compliance tracking, a compliance calendar with automated reminders, income tax and Form16A generation, client portal, notice management, and OCR-assisted document intake with an AI copilot.
The workspace is organized around three broad user types: Payroll Ops/Managers who run the calculation engine and approve exceptions, HR staff who maintain employee master data and leave, and employees using self-service for payslips and declarations.
Frequently asked questions
Which countries does PayrollOS support?
India (full statutory stack), GCC/UAE/Qatar, Canada and Australia are all live today, sharing one calculation engine with country-specific compliance modules layered on top.
What is the CA Practice Management suite?
A separate module set for accounting/CA firms managing multiple client companies — GST/ROC tracking, a compliance due-date calendar, client portals, and OCR-based document intake — built on top of the same platform, not a separate product.
Is there an audit trail?
Every payroll run, approval and edit is logged with maker-checker controls, so any figure on a payslip can be traced back to who entered or approved it.
